Terms of service
Last updated 3 August 2026
These terms govern your use of MyNextLevel, operated by MB HorseHat, a company registered in Lithuania ("we", "us"). By signing in you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the service.
The service
MyNextLevel is a personal self-improvement app: goals, a daily to-do list, repeating routines, and end-of-day reflections. It is a tool for organising your own notes. It is not medical, psychological, financial or professional advice, and must not be relied on as such.
Your account
You need a Google account to sign in, and you must be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your Google account secure.
You also choose an encryption passphrase. We never receive it. If you lose both it and your recovery code, your entries become permanently unreadable — we have no way to reset it or recover them for you. Please store your recovery code somewhere safe.
Free trial, then subscription
New accounts get 14 days of full access with no payment details required. After that, unless you subscribe, your account becomes read-only: everything you have written stays visible and exportable, but creating, editing, deleting and completing items pause until you subscribe. We do not delete your entries because a trial ended.
The subscription price is the one shown at checkout, billed monthly in advance and renewing automatically until cancelled. Prices include VAT where it applies. We may change the price, but not for a period you have already paid for, and we will tell you before a change affects you.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from the Subscription page, which opens Stripe's billing portal. Cancellation stops future payments; you keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for, after which the account returns to read-only. See our refund policy for when money is returned.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the service for anything unlawful, or to store unlawful material.
- Do not attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service.
- Do not resell or redistribute the service.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. Where we do, we will tell you why and give you a reasonable opportunity to retrieve your data unless the law prevents it.
Availability
We work to keep the service running, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice so you can export your data, and refund any period already paid for but not delivered.
Your content
Everything you write remains yours. We claim no rights over it, and because it is encrypted we could not use it even if we wanted to. You are responsible for the content you store.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your mandatory rights as a consumer under Lithuanian and EU law.
Subject to that, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost data where the loss results from you losing your passphrase and recovery code, as we cannot technically prevent or reverse that.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Lithuanian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings there.
If something goes wrong, please email horsehat.it@gmail.com first — most things are quicker to fix directly. Consumers in Lithuania may also contact the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (Valstybinė vartotojų teisių apsaugos tarnyba).
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will give notice in the app before it takes effect, and continuing to use the service after that means you accept it.
